Revenue from tourism in Cyprus surged by 21.3% in the first six months of 2025, reaching a total of €1.38 billion, according to the latest data from the Statistical Service. This significant increase from the €1.14 billion recorded in the same period of 2024 underscores a robust start to the year for the island’s vital tourism industry.

June Performance and Per-Capita Spending

The positive trend continued strongly into the summer, with the month of June alone generating €422.3 million in tourism revenue. This represents a 9.6% increase compared to the corresponding month in the previous year.
