The Cyprus real estate sector kicked off 2025 with impressive momentum, showing solid gains in both transaction volumes and property values, according to the latest report from the Cyprus Real Estate Agents Registration Council.
International Buyers Show Growing Interest
The Council’s report highlights that Paphos has become a hotspot for international buyers, while Limassol continues to maintain its key position in the country’s property market.
Council president Marinos Kineyirou shared an optimistic view of the current landscape, stating, “It’s clear that 2025 has gotten off to a great start for real estate.” He added that the outlook remains bright, with strong demand persisting and supply gradually catching up to market needs.
Transaction Activity on the Rise
According to data compiled from the Department of Lands and Surveys, 4,137 property sale contracts were submitted across Cyprus in the first quarter of 2025. This marks a significant 15% increase compared to the 3,597 contracts filed during the same period last year.
