The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has unveiled a new initiative, the “Co-Develop” funding program, which boasts a total budget of €6 million. This program is designed to address practical challenges by fostering collaboration between researchers and businesses in key sectors such as digital technologies, advanced agriculture, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.

The primary objective of “Co-Develop” is to leverage existing expertise to drive economic growth and enhance the quality of life in Cyprus. The program will support joint projects that focus on developing innovative technological solutions, with each project eligible for funding of up to €600,000.

To qualify for funding, projects must be a collaboration between at least one business and one research organization based in Cyprus. Additionally, funded entities will benefit from complimentary support services and tools provided by the Foundation’s Central Knowledge Transfer Office.

This funding program is supported by the Cohesion Policy Programme “THALIA 2021-2027” and the European Regional Development Fund. Interested parties must submit their proposals via the Foundation’s IRIS platform no later than November 22 at 1:00 PM.

For further details, individuals can reach out to the Foundation’s Partner Service Centre at 22205000 or via email at support@research.org.cy.
