Cyprus Inflation Rate Drops to 0.6% in October

In October, Cyprus recorded an annual inflation rate of 0.6%, marking its lowest level in over three years, largely attributed to a drop in petroleum product prices.

According to the Cyprus Statistical Service (CyStat), data released on Thursday shows that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose slightly by 0.16 units, reaching 118.64 in October compared to 118.48 in September 2024.

The annual inflation rate for October was 0.6%, and for the period from January through October 2024, the CPI recorded a year-on-year increase of 1.8%.

Looking at economic categories, petroleum products showed the largest annual decrease, down by 12.75%. Month-over-month, agricultural products saw the most significant decline, with a 2.17% reduction compared to September.
