This designation triggered strict requirements, such as obtaining an operating permit, hiring certified lifeguards, and installing public-use toilets and showers. Officials acknowledged that these demands were often financially and logistically unfeasible, especially for residential buildings and smaller property developments with shared amenities.
The Rationale Behind the Legal Overhaul

New Pool Categories Introduced
