According to the latest data from the Cyprus Statistical Service, the island welcomed a staggering 4,534,073 tourists throughout the year. This represents a robust 12.2% increase over the 4,040,200 arrivals recorded in 2024, signaling a powerful post-recovery expansion for the local economy.

The year was characterized by consistent upward momentum, culminating in a record-breaking total. This growth was not limited to the summer months, as winter tourism also saw a significant boost.

December 2025: A Strong Finish
The year ended on a high note, with December arrivals surging by 18.0% year-on-year. A total of 156,959 visitors landed in Cyprus during the final month of 2025, compared to 133,063 in December 2024.

The travel boom was a two-way street in 2025. Residents of Cyprus also showed a heightened appetite for international travel. In December alone, 193,007 residents returned from trips abroad, marking a 14.9% rise compared to the same month in 2024.
