The association is advocating for the swift passage of the ‘Management of Shared Buildings and Related Issues Law,’ viewing it as a critical step toward ensuring long-term safety and structural integrity across the island.
The SAA noted that establishing clear, enforceable standards for building maintenance is a priority that concerns the well-being of residents and the preservation of the national housing stock.

The association believes that current challenges highlight a need for more robust coordination between property owners and the state. To address this, the SAA is proposing a transition toward a more structured oversight system.
